Cookie Policy
What cookies and browser storage we use, and how to control them.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Websites also commonly use similar browser storage technologies, such as local storage, for the same kind of purpose. We use both, as described below.
How to control your choice
When you first visit printmind.com, a banner asks whether you accept or reject analytics cookies. You can change your mind at any time using the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer of any page, or by clearing your browser's site data for printmind.com, which will show the banner again on your next visit.
You can also control cookies through your browser settings, including blocking or deleting them, though doing so may affect how some websites function.
Cookies and storage we use
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| pm_cookie_consent | Browser local storage, strictly necessary | Remembers whether you accepted or rejected analytics cookies, so we don't ask again every visit. | Until you clear your browser data |
| _ga | Google Analytics, functional only if accepted | Distinguishes unique visitors for aggregate usage statistics. | Up to 2 years |
| _ga_<container id> | Google Analytics, functional only if accepted | Persists session state for Google Analytics 4 reporting. | Up to 2 years |
| cs_* | ContentSquare, functional only if accepted | Records anonymised on-site behaviour, such as page flow and interaction patterns, to help us understand and improve the customer journey. | Up to 13 months |
Nothing is tracked before you decide. Google Tag Manager, which delivers both Google Analytics and ContentSquare, is only loaded, and their cookies only set, after you click Accept on the cookie banner. If you click Reject, or simply close the banner without choosing, no analytics or product-usage cookies are set.
Strictly necessary storage
The pm_cookie_consent value above is the only storage we use that isn't optional. It only remembers your cookie preference and does not track your activity.
Analytics and product-usage cookies
If you accept, we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use this website in aggregate, such as which pages are popular and how people generally find the site. We do not use this data to identify you personally. See Google's Privacy Policy for how Google handles this data.
If you accept, we also use ContentSquare to understand how visitors move through the site, such as which paths lead to a completed enquiry and where people drop off, so we can improve the customer journey. See ContentSquare's Privacy Policy for how ContentSquare handles this data.
Both tools are delivered through Google Tag Manager, a single container that controls which tags are allowed to run. Neither tool loads, and neither sets cookies, until you accept.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy if the cookies or storage we use change. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
