Privacy Policy
How we collect, use and protect your personal data.
Who we are
Printmind is the trading name of Smart Thought Technology Solutions UK Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 07755277), with its registered office at 25 Norway Gate, London, Greater London, SE16 7TR.
For the purposes of data protection law, Smart Thought Technology Solutions UK Limited is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. You can contact us at hello@printmind.com.
What personal data we collect
Information you give us
When you use our contact form, we collect the information you choose to provide: your name, email address, company name (optional), the service you are interested in (optional), and the content of your message.
Information collected automatically
If you consent to analytics cookies, we collect standard usage information through Google Analytics and ContentSquare, both delivered via Google Tag Manager, such as the pages you visit, the device and browser you are using, an approximate location derived from your IP address, how you arrived at the site, and how you move through it. We do not use this information to identify you personally.
How we use your data
- To respond to enquiries submitted through our contact form.
- To understand how the website is used, so we can improve it, but only where you have given consent to analytics cookies.
- To meet our legal and accounting obligations.
Our legal basis for processing
- Contact form enquiries: legitimate interest in responding to enquiries about our services, and in some cases the steps needed to enter into a contract with you.
- Analytics cookies: your consent, given (or withheld) through the cookie banner shown when you first visit the site. You can withdraw this consent at any time, see our Cookie Policy.
How your contact form message is handled: submitting the form sends an email directly to our team inbox. We do not store form submissions in a separate database on this website.
Who we share your data with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the following categories of recipient, where relevant:
- Our hosting provider (IONOS), which hosts this website and, incidentally, processes data submitted through it as part of running the site.
- Google (Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics), if you have consented to analytics cookies. Google acts as a data processor for the usage data described above.
- ContentSquare, if you have consented to analytics cookies. ContentSquare acts as a data processor for the on-site behavioural data described above.
- Professional advisers, regulators and authorities, where we are required to share information by law.
International data transfers
Google Analytics and ContentSquare may transfer data to servers located outside the UK and European Economic Area, including the United States. Where this happens, each provider relies on its own compliance framework, including the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses, to provide appropriate safeguards for that data.
How long we keep your data
We keep contact form enquiries for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to you and to maintain a record of the business relationship, and no longer than is needed for that purpose, unless we are required to keep it for longer to comply with a legal, accounting or regulatory obligation.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:
- Ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Ask us to delete your data, in certain circumstances.
- Ask us to restrict or object to how we use your data.
- Ask for your data to be provided to you or another organisation in a portable format.
- Withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent, such as analytics cookies.
To exercise any of these rights, email hello@printmind.com. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
Children's privacy
This website and our services are directed at businesses and professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
